Tattoo removal - First class service as always from Karina, everything about the process and aftercare etc fully explained and any questions answered at the initial appointment. Appointment times suit well as are after work. I am currently 3 sessions in, having 2 upper arm tattoos removed. Both are well faded already, wish I had started sooner! . I would not hesitate in recommending Skinworkz to anyone thinking of having a tattoo removed or even lightened for cover up.

Skinworkz offer a fast, friendly and professional service. Before you start everything is explained very well and everything is easy to understand. Your expectations are managed well also. Personally, I have been receiving treatment to remove my unwanted tattoo/pigment. The process lasts only a few minutes. The sensation of receiving this treatment was not what I had expected. It isn’t comfortable but it also isn’t very painful. You are given the freedom to stop at anytime should you need to but with the cooling air being used on the area that’s being treated, you don’t need a break. In the hours that follow your area is swollen, not by much and feels similar to sunburn, fast forward a few days and the area is fine again. For anyone who may want this treatment but is unsure, just do it. The service is 10/10 and you are well looked after. Special shoutout to Faye, who is very professional and friendly, a pleasure to work with.

Im probably in and around half way through my laser and am delighted with the results so far.Whilst the laser is around a 5 out of 10 for pain it has been worth it every time. I attend Skinworkz in Ballymena for both tattoo removal and laser hair removal and cannot recommend them enough.Tattoo removal - Karina is amazing. She explained the process thoroughly, answered all of my questions, made me feel completely at ease and told me how I could maximise results between removal sessions while also looking after my skin. My tattoo is almost gone and I have had no issues whatsoever and zero scarring. Tattoo removal is individual to each person (ink, age, whether you plan a cover up etc)… I wanted my skin to look like the tattoo had never been done in the first place and I couldn’t be more pleased with the results so far!Laser hair removal - I see Claudia for this and she is just as thorough - whole process explained, questions answered, what to expect/how to maximise results between sessions. I have been going to Faye for laser hair removal as I suffer from PCOS. Other places turned me down as ‘’my hair colour is too light’. Faye reassured me that she could help. I have had 5 sessions at skinsworks ballymena getting the laser hair removal treatment. although I would stick with Faye I have used the other two girls on different occasions as appointments didn’t suit! All girls have been brilliant and very professional at their job! Faye makes me very comfortable and is very professional about her job! Within these 5 sessions I have little to no hair growth on my underarm and my bikini is coming along amazingly too! Never did I expect the results I’ve actually achieved within a short period of time! Faye is always ready to answer any questions and always a listening ear too! I’ve been getting laser hair removal with Monika, and all I can say I’ve never ever been more happier with any type of service in the whole world! The confidence this treatment gave me is insane! The results honestly were almost instant! The value for money is also great as most laser removal places charge quite a lot for these services however at Skinworkz they’ve made it very much affordable! I’m almost finished with my treatment as today I’m going for my 5th session with barely any hair! (It’s been 4 weeks since my last session and I’ve not grown much hair since), I’m so happy with the results and can’t wait to be basically hair free!!

I have been getting a tattoo removed that i got done when i was 18. It is in an awful place a looks horrible. My mum had attended Karina to get tattoos on her forearm removed and i was so impressed by her work i booked in. Ive had a few treatments and it is fading fast. They will not waste your time or money if they don't think it will work. Thankfully I have saw results and look forward to the next appointment.Karina treats her clients with care and there is always the friendliest of welcomes, making you feel at ease. My biggest regret is not doing it sooner. Getting hair laser treatment is the best decision I’ve made. Amy is amazing and completely puts you at ease . Even though I find it easy to get done she always asks if I’m ok. She’s always smiling and makes the time go in so quickly. The results have been amazing and I noticed a difference after first session.
The service i have received from Claudia at skinworkz has been incredible. She is so incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgeable at what she does.My hair grows back so quick I normally have to shave every couple of days and get the most awful irritation but since I have started my hair removal I can go weeks without needing to even look near a razor.I was skeptical to start this as I was debating if it was worth the money/if it would actually work or not. I am only 4 sessions in and I can 100% say it is worth it times a million! Just had my 5th session of laser hair removal at Skinworkz with Faye. The results I have seen have been amazing! I wasn’t sure if it was going to work on my legs as my hairs would be quite fair but after my last session I was shocked with the results. My leg hairs hadn’t even grown back in time to shave for my next session and I didn’t need to shave for holidays. I’ve had two sessions now of laser hair removal, and I can really notice the difference. I have only had to shave under my arms once in 5 weeks. Faye is so lovely and very professional, puts you at ease straight away. I would pain wise it’s about a 1/10 maybe 2/10 around sensitive bikini areas but very manageable.

I’m on to my 6th session of the laser hair removal and the results were almost instant from the first session, the hair was softer, thinner and there was less of it. I gradually seen a great improvement with the hair not growing back as fast or in some areas at all after only 2 or 3 sessions. The treatment itself was not as I expected and was over fairly quickly, there is only minimal pain, more of a sting which is quickly over. Faye was especially amazing as she made me feel comfortable and ensured I wasn’t in pain, distracting me from it as well as telling me what was going on during the process, what were good signs and such. My underarm hair is almost all gone and with what does grow back takes about 4 weeks, my bikini area is also showing amazing results. Overall, I would definitely recommend as it is definitely worth the money for the treatment and results!

I've been attending Amy for laser treatment of thread veins on my face, mainly cheek area. She is very friendly and welcoming and always takes me straight away for my appointments. I attended for a few patch tests, mainly to be safe, as it was delicate laser on my face and have now had one full treatment. This was very quick and relatively painless. I have another two treatments but have already noticed a great improvement. My daughter also attends Monika for hair removal and is extremely pleased with the results. I went for my patch test with Karina last week, she Was lovely and explained everything in complete detail before she carried out the service, she was very professional and made sure I was very comfortable! the patch test was over in just 6 seconds and I could not believe the results, it has nearly took the whole ink from my tattooed eyebrows away! Which I have wanted removed for years. I am so happy and completely satisfied with this service and I can’t wait to go back for my my full treatment, I have waited so long and been so indecisive of what procedure to take on my eyebrows considering they are on my face and I only wish I had done this years sooner! I've been attending SKINWORKZ BEAUTY LTD for a few years now. Found out about them through word of mouth & my sister knowing some of the staff who'd also been going for treatment at the time. I thought I'd give it a go & the results have been amazing. I started off getting Lazer hair removal on my underarms & from the first visit (after a patch test) I noticed the results with hair growth less & less upon every visit. I'm now onto treatment on my legs & the results again are amazing. Wouldn't look back. Best money I've ever spent. Both Amy & Monika have been lovely to chat to & very friendly during treatment always putting me at ease. It has been lovely getting to know them more too. Karina is such a professional friendly person, who always provides me with a great service including informative aftercare.Although my tattoo is very heavy, dark, and large I am seeing steady positive results!Cannot recommend them enough!
I've been using these guys for laser removal for about 8 months now. They're lovely people that really know their stuff and make sure the environment is welcoming and friendly. We always enjoy a bit of chat with them. The treatments are excellent ensuring large coverage in a short space of time (better to have to grin and bear it for 5 mins than half an hour!)Aftercare is very responsive and they constantly assess the best way to treat the tattoo based on how it responds after each treatment. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to get rid of ink that seemed a great idea once upon a day!
